Savior, I Am NotA Poem by Alicia HirsheyFighting like crazy Buying this time Wanting to save you Never caring about mine Giving up It’s easy to say But who will be there When my past comes out to play
Twenty three Little cuts My stomach now bares Easily done It was her who took me there Little droplets Of my blood washed away Like everything else Down the drain
Savior This word you held true I’m no savior I’ve given up on you Everything is falling Fading to grey I gave up so easy I’m to blame
Running the razor Shredded my skin like a knife In the end My pain made it alright Giving up On everything I held dear Never once realizing Who drove me here
Savior This word you held true I am no savior I’ve given up on you Everything is falling Fading to grey I gave up so easy Am I to blame
Standing in silence Staring him in the face Watching him watch As my blood rushed down the drain What have you done You saved me from here Please don’t leave It’s you I hold dear
Fighting like crazy Buying this time Wanting to save you Never caring about mine Giving up It’s easy to say But who will be there When my past comes out to play
