Friendship Prefection

Friendship Prefection

A Poem by Alicia Hirshey
"

memors of a best friend

"

Tandem humming

Beauty galour

Wistful thinking

Poetry and more

Down the street

Is where we meet

Games of ultimate

Hide and go seek

Stealing microwaves

And pizza’s for two

Fun filled night

Just me and you

Blue underwear

In your chair

Pick them up

You don’t remember having a pair

Face painted pirates

And superhero’s too

Without you

None of this would be true

Painting portrait

Upon each others face

Bucket lists

That disappeared without a trace

Cookie baking

In the winter time

All the time laughing

While your mother whined

Idealistic leaper

Making fun of Sue

Cold hearted killer of love

We believed to be true

Coloring pages

Just for the fun

Playing outside it the freezing winter sun.

Chasing a duck

Just to make a scene

Finally catching it

 Made the picture serene

Climbing trees

Just to fall out

Making up stories

Running our mouths

Homemade journals

I will never forget

The hours we spent making it

Dreams long forgot

Our friendship remains the same

Happy to come here

Loving our games.

Tandem humming

Beauty galour

Wistful thinking

"Blue underwear In your chair Pick them up You don’t remember having a pair."

I laughed throughout the whole thing, but this made me cry. This poem is the best =] And yes, my Aunt Sue is a "Cold hearted killer of love." Lol.
