Your Escape

Your Escape

A Poem by Alicia Hirshey

My heart is torn open,
My head is quite confused.
I'm starting to question my trust in you.
So eager to leave him,
Trying to use me as your escape.
I honestly don't know,
If I like the way this is falling into place.
He'll just blame me,
You know it's true.
But that doesn't matter,
All that matters here is you.
I'm not your patsy,
I don't like being used.
Just suck it up and realize,
That the boy loves you.

Author's Note

Alicia Hirshey
When does the blame game end? When do the story's stop? When do you get everything you want from life? Why run to me? Why try to leave? Stick with it, It's nowhere near as bad as it seems. Someone will always be there to show you the truth and let you know what you have.
