Backstabber

Backstabber

A Poem by Alicia Hirshey

I thought we were friends,
Together until the end.
I never once thought,
It was all a game of pretend.
I trusted you,
To see me through,
But you turned your back,
So I'm putting you in my past.
You sat there,
Put on an amazing show.
It hurts knowing,
That I was just to slow.
Are you jealous that I have him?
I know about you,
You ment nothing to him.
Or are you jealous,
That it was with me,
That he chose to start his family?
I hope it kills you,
Knowing that you ruined everything we ever had.
Your a Backstabber,
Evryone knows it's true.
This friendship is over.
Not because of me,
This one is on you.
