Change of PaceA Poem by Alicia HirsheyTeen PregnancyLonely places,
Expressionless faces. Nights full of hatred. No one to turn too, She hide the scars, To please the masses. She turned away, With nothing but hate, Never once to afraid to stray. She looked in the mirror, and cursed her reflection. A night spent alone, The struggles she faces, She learned some of lifes greatest lessons. A baby to bare, A friend that cared. She looked at life with new eyes. It wasn't so bad, She would never trade places. For that day she found, Her life was precious. So eager to help, Save people from themselves. She took a stand, And never turned back. She loves herself, And that is all that counts. One mistake, Turned her around. © 2011 Alicia HirsheyAuthor's Note
