Alcohol

Alcohol

A Poem by Beautifully Tragic xPoetry Queen
"

Don't drink.

"

Unbearable.

Life constantly swaying,

Barely able to stand on solid ground.

My own two feet.

Poison.

Flowing through my veins

It takes away the pain

Even if it's just for a little while.

Intoxication.

Slow elimination.

My reality non existent.

Til I face tomorrow, alone.

Haven't been there. But wow, this poem is simple with a powerful meaning. Well down, Beautifully Tragic Poetry Queen. =)

I've definitely been there, but I think the real trick is knowing when to stop. Forcing yourself not to drink will only make you want it more, and when you break, you'll drink even more to compensate. Been there as well..

Well done though.
