DISTRACTION

I should be studying for a big exam....instead this is what is occupying my mind.

So well grounded, they say. Never knowing the annoying reality that is all but my own. My attention buzzing.....like hummingbird darting flower to flower, my brain moves from idea to idea never to hit solid ground. Awareness for what needs to be done but too high up to ever want to come down and face reality.  A dreamland drifter with her head always in the clouds. Deadlines to be met, lessons to be learned.

 

I'll come back to Earth in a moment, just let me dream a little more.

Hehe, this was really good :) I do this All the time hehe. When i should be doing something more important, my mind drifts and drifts until i pass out, or if i get distracted by something else lol. Great work here, excellent! :)
