Not Another Ranting Poem (The World As I See It)

Not Another Ranting Poem (The World As I See It)

A Poem by Beautifully Tragic xPoetry Queen
"

the world through my eyes.

"

Another scandal in the news today,

All these politicians just looking for play.

To satisfy their darkest desires,

Hoping to never be caught under fire.

Another death in a bloody war,

While people scream how much more.

A king that dines upon his golden throne,

An evil king that should be overthrown.

Another celebrity meltdown,

Surrounded by a vast sea of flashes, they drown.

Sinking further into more mental hell,

Its alright - the crazier they seem, the more pictures they'll sell

Mother Nature demands humanity knows their place,

As she threatens the human world to be replaced.

Melting ice, the ocean grows more vast,

Wicked weather, humanity disappears fast.

Animals suffer a death gripping blow,

Used for pointless fighting just to make more dough.

The beautiful life of our creature world fades,

Forced into extinction by humanity's wicked ways.

Suffering from broken homes, children cry

Suffering poverty or disease knowing one day they may die.

Never knowing what life would bring when grown,

Just trying to survive and make it on their own.

Bombs shedding bloody rain,

Families torn apart and only disaster remains.

A world that suffers, crying too many broken tears.

Surviving on dreams and faith through life's remaining years.

This touches so many topics, I don't even know where to start.
Life in the western world just seem to get more and more complicated and moronic.
Oh how I'd love to be stranded on a deserted island with WiFi. :)
I guess I'll have to settle for trying to ignore everything I can, and make my donation for making things better in my own little scope of people.

rayne, this is beautifully done, you cover a wide range of worldly issues that have the ability to
make and break life circumstances as humanity is constantly struggling to swim free from the
downward spiraling effects of control, the ammount of thought you put into each word is touching,
and shows a sincereness that can only come from the depths of the heart, amnd what i really enjoy
about this writing is the way you are able to bring turmoiling subjects to light in a way that
captures idealism, the rhyme form is equally impressive, the imagery is stunning, in way
it transports the readers thoughts, one can fully visualize the concept, very nicely done.

I read this once before but didn't comment it's very good very very good and I really liked it for some reason I thought I commented but apparently not Anyway thanks for entering it in the "Drop it like it's Hot!" poetry contest, and I am sorry I forgot to comment before lol.... I am a bit of a rambler when I comment so I am gonna shut up and just tell you that my favorite part was...

"Another celebrity meltdown,

Sinking further into more mental hell,

Its alright - the crazier they seem, the more pictures they'll sell" reminded me of brittney lol

I once said I was never here to save the world because the world doesn't want to be saved. I still say thats the truth.

Nice write. Its true what you say and as we come closer to the very pincle of mankinds existence, we only become more backward.

Like it!

That was a nice read and it only gives way to the Perplexing questionwhy. For some reason the question remains the same but the creativiness is all that changes...if you words cut the shell how come people just don't stop this...crap they call hell. I love when people stand up and become noticed, I like this read alot.

Oh Oh Oh Oh you know i loved this. You were speaking my language my dear. I love seeing this type of writing from you. It has such in your face with facts you can not deny type of feel. The truth hurts but and can sent you free as they say, but what they fail to mention is the freedom you experiences is the freedom of your soul from your body. Speaking out against things such as this often leads you to a path you have to willing to walk with a strong heart and the readiness to stand up for what you believe.

Great Job!!!!!
