Wash Away

It was raining...

Let the rain wash away

All the sorrow from these eyes

No more broken hearted days

Hiding in this smiling disguise

 

Let my dreams be fulfilled

Bringing glory to my name

Leaving behind the dreaded days

My life has been put to shame

 

Let the shadows in my mind

Scare these demons away

So the voices inside my head

Will come back some other day

 

No more lingering in the dark

I'm no longer under your control

This free-spirit will fly,

Through the colors of my new soul

Sounds like the counterpart of one of my poems, in which the rain is the pain dropping upon the person.
We could all use a little of this rain in our lives.

"Let the shadows in my mind
Scare these demons away
So the voices inside my head
Will come back some other day" - It's very "realistic" of you not to expect them to go away for good. ;)

What can I say that I haven't said to you before?
