Paranoid

Paranoid

A Poem by Beautifully Tragic xPoetry Queen

Giggling, laughing

The demons of my mind

I toss and look around

To see no one standing behind

My heart beats rapidly

Am I really going insane

Can't stand the laughing, hearing things

Trickster imagination of my brain

Watching and staring

I can feel someone stare

Eyes look suspiciously

Wondering who will come to scare

Fear they are out to get me

But there is no where to run

When the demons of your mind

Come out to play and have some fun

What an amusing touch as to feel your imagination explode into deception then top it off with your demons having funwhat a contrastlove it.

Your description is dead on. Paranoia is scary. The picture you used is haunting. I love this stanza the best
My heart beats rapidly
am I really going insane
can't stand the laughing, hearing things
trickster imagination of my brain
so many times I have had the thoughts of going insane. The laughing, the laughing always gets me, what is going on, why do they laugh. Good write, like the way you put the feelings into words.
