Poets gone wild...

Creating worlds beyond imagination

As their pen glides on blank pages,

Painting their souls on canvas

Sexual sceances and passionate kisses

Of the mind.

Muses of inspiration

Lead into a world of creation

Words and paintings

Come alive in the night

With thunderous roars of emotions

Flooding the psyche with color

Taking form,

And trancending upon reality.

Not only like a zephyr

But coming out like a hurricane.

A rocket of pictures and literacy

The outspoken truths

That lies within ones soul,

An artistic world filled with color and beauty

Fields of imaginations

'Neath a curtain of sunlight

Or the haunting of a dark world

The ghosts and demons of our nightmares

'Neath a starry midnight sky

...the bittersweet melody of life.

In an artistic world

Fantasties and enchantments

Become your wildest dreams.

oh yes dear thats is great you just hinted to ,how great words can be no weapon is alike ,they can travel miles at the blink of the eye ,they can make you live a whole scene in a few words you will see limitless images so strong ,in the hand of the craftsman ,the artist,he can build a whole world by putting a few words together and shape that world as he likes,you made a great hint here,ijust love it

Words of truth. It's sad that the world no longer respects the poet. It is only through the poet's words that beauty is imagined. Anyone can look at a rock and say, "Hey, looky there! That there's a rock!" But, it takes a poet to make people realize the rock's beauty and purpose in our universe.

As for the idiot slamming the site's rating system I can only say that he is proving nothing to himself, or to anyone else here. Being as the Writer's Cafe is primarily composed of, um, writers, we would know good writing from bad. His victorious crowing will eventually dissipate because WE will know that he arrived at the Top Writers page only by way of deceit and treachery, rather than by any semblance of talent or ability.

I loved this piece and yes it's very true. Our imaginations have no limits cept what we put upon them, but when we can put our imaginations to paper, not only do we take flight but so do our readers. Truly and inspired piece of writing!
