Stalker

Stalker

A Poem by Beautifully Tragic xPoetry Queen
"

something that came to mind.

"

Obsessed with the thought

Of having me for yourself

In the shadows you linger

And wait, til I am by myself

Telephone rings,

Hearing that deep voice

Not beautiful enough

So why am I your only choice?

Watching my every move

Til the moment is right

Filling my dreams

To the brim with fright

Standing above the moon

I see you standing there

Wondering in my thoughts

Just to give me a scare

My heart pounds faster

Knowing where you are

Every step I take,

I know you're not far...

You captured the situation perfectly and had me looking out the window here! Wonderful title to go with this haunting piece.
