Boulevard of Broken Dreams

Boulevard of Broken Dreams

A Chapter by Beautifully Tragic xPoetry Queen
"

Thoughts & Ramblings of A Beautiful Tragedy

"

You can always find me walking down the Boulevard of Broken Dreams, where I have visited many a time with only my shadow to comfort me, walking down this empty street. An emotional train wreck, bound by both happiness and sorrow. I do what I can to keep my head up high above the waves that continue to crash around me, pulling me away from the shore. Numb and frozen, wearing this bleeding heart on my sleeve.

A freak, I may be to the world, but I am a mere human trying to find her place, clinging tightly to the beauty of life in a plague battle.

Why can’t we just see that when we bleed, we all bleed the same?

I've just read the pieces you've up'ed so far and I gotta say this is courageous and brilliant writing Beautiful Tragic One -- you capture the contrasting Dark and Light sides of your perfectly flawed humanity with daring imagery and prose that is afire with your insight into whom you are becoming -- and with the laser eyes of the writer who looks and looks and dares to see what others fear to be --

"Why can't we just see that when we bleed, we all bleed the same?" I thought that was an extremely strong phrase. And it is all so true, too. I, too, hate it when we're treated so differently when it comes to depression or something of the related sort. Like we're treated as a segregated group, and labeled as 'crazy' or somethin, and we're talked to and treated like little kids or somethin- Ugh, there's just so much to say about that, and u've really done well with this part in the story. Thank you so much for sharing these words with us. Great points u make, too :) Oh, and i love that song as well. One of my fav's ;)

I won't say it since everyone else already did but I liked the way it flowed and made something interesting.
