Mother Earth

Mother Earth

A Poem by Beautifully Tragic xPoetry Queen
"

Written while watching Discovery Channel's Planet Earth show

"

Mothers crying at night
For sons and daughters
No where in sight
Wondering if they are alright
Or held hostage and locked up tight

Fighting and bombs
Executionists on a roll
Within the Middle East
Death and destruction
As the evil ones feast

Genocide all around
But nothing is being done
Rape and killing
Is everywhere to be found
Another Holocaust has come a bound..

Our world is dying too
Does anyone really see?
Ice melting, the ocean larger
Rare animals just discovered
Now fading fast

Mother Nature shows her fury
Preparing us for what is next
And all that really matters now
Is the Holy Bible text…

Who is famous?
Who is not?
Really, who gives a s**t?
Look around you
Take a good look

The world around you is dying fast
Mother Earth and the life she gives
If we do not do something soon
How long do you think we will last?

beautiful, that show scares me considering what's going on with the planet. Great job!
