Nightmares & Dreamscapes

Nightmares come alive

Alive inside my head

My demons to escape

When I'm lying inside my bed

 

My monsters in the closet

Full of rotting skin and bone

Feeling the need to scream

When by myself, alone

 

A woman so familiar

Stares while I sleep

Glowing eyes and haunting whispers

Cut through me so far deep

 

Close my eyes

To escape this place

To my garden, I lie

With the sun on my face

 

Escape to my dreamworld

My castles in the sky

Where I can be anywhere

If I just fly.
