Maybe..

Maybe..

A Poem by Jennifer Ellen

Can you see me?
Will you ever listen?
Do you care?
I love how,
no one notices.
I love how,
I'm invisible.
I love how,
I'm a nobody.
I love how,
You don't see how i feel,
Its like I'm not here,
gone,
invisible,
completely non-existent.
Everyone judges me,
but they don't even know me.
They see the outside,
and judge how i look
: I'm ugly, I'm fat, I'm not perfect:
I'm sorry I'm not how you want me to be,
I'll just sit here in the shadows and watch the world,
cause honey,
I'm tired of the world,
I'm tried of how i am treated,
I'm so sick of this,
of you,
of the world.
I want a story book ending,
I want a song dedicated to just me,
I want someone to notice me,
Maybe I'm not perfect,
Maybe I'm a nobody,
But Maybe,
I'm the girl that will surprise the world...

About
I am a beautifully broken poet. I wonder why the world has so much hate in it. I hear my heart beat loud as I look at what’s to come in my life. I see the words from my heart flow out and ont.. more..
