SonnetA Poem by Jennifer EllenMy first try.Do you see the sky in all its glory? With the light that shines down from above, I will tell you this, a simple story, Maybe it will be of tragedy, or love, I dedicate my heart and my soul, To the thing that gave a sweet sound, I am becoming weak for it stole, The sanity that made the sky crash down, The light of the gloomy broken sky, That once gave the gloomy world light, Now only gives me the lack of hope to try, But once I get my unclouded sight, I will learn from the written faults, That started with the Shakespearean waltz. © 2011 Jennifer EllenReviews
