Number 16.

Number 16.

A Poem by Jennifer Ellen

Do you see that guy?

He is over there with his friends,

A jock,

He only cares about winning,

Just like every other jock,

But you dont know him like i do,

To everyone else he is a jock,

But to me-

To me he is my loser,

Because,

He noticed me when i was invisible,

He called me beautiful when everyone else called me ugly,

He made me smile when i was sad,

He stop my tears before they fell,

And he also healed my scars before the bleed.

He listens to my breathing because he loves knowing that i am on the other line,

He listens to me sleep cause it makes him smile,

He makes me laugh cause he love the way it sounds,

And he fills my heart with love,

Because he doesn't want his bunni so be frown.

You see a Jock standing there,

But i see a guy.

One that doesn't care what other people think.

One that loves who he wants.

The one who loves me,

The one who wears,

Jersey Number 16.

About
I am a beautifully broken poet. I wonder why the world has so much hate in it. I hear my heart beat loud as I look at what’s to come in my life. I see the words from my heart flow out and ont.. more..
