My First Kiss

My First Kiss

A Poem by Kinley Lowe
"

This could be a story, but i didnt want to write it like that...

"

My first kiss?

well, I've had a lot of "firsts".

The first one i

really remember

was kind of weird

i remember

he tasted

like salt-

like

SALTY salt

he was also

touchy

but its not that

it wasn't good

it's just that

the whole time

i was thinking

okay, what now?

or

woah dude-

what the hell

do you think

you're doing?

i remember

he was

warm

for lack

of a better word

all my emotions

swelling up inside me

my shaking body

in his firm hands

the heated red

in my cheeks

filling up the rest of my body

my cold heart

being warmed by passion

i wasn't sure what to think

in that moment

depression mixed with confusion

with a teaspoon of relief

stirred together

in a frenzy of panic

baked at a temprature

not even known in hell

for 30 seconds

sprinkled with love

cut with forked pain

reluctantly eaten

by a fat girl trying

to go on a diet

is enough

to drive me

absolutely insane

so...

that's what i remember

from

my first kiss
