Why?

Why?

A Poem by Kinley Lowe
"

A rant of mine; asking questions, trying to figure things out. i originally sent a small part of it to my friend and she said i should build on it.

"
why are we here
still here
if we've came so close
wayyy too many times?
why are we so young
and have so many problems,
problems our parents never had to deal with;
when life was so simple?

why did they say
"i love you"
kiss you,
and then turned around
and kissed the girl behind them?
why are people so cold?
why are they not considerate of other's feelings?

why am i always so angry?
why do i care about things who arent mutually in love with me?

why am i here?
why do i-
we-
exists?
answer me this, Dear;
why does the world still turn
if people say love is what makes it do so?
why?

The tone of this poem is angry, as you mean it to be, because of the quick-fire, unanswerable questions.

I would quite like to see a more considered companion piece with a few answers, as well.
