The Storm

The Storm

A Poem by Elephant
"

This is a piece that I wrote quite a while ago but it was written from a poor mindset, and thought up whilst trying to sleep and not being able to.

"

The thunder was crashing, the rain pelting down but the lightning was there never making a sound. Sometimes it was there others not, even when the storm was violent it never spoke. The thunder and rain were arguing ferociously, the lightning however was sitting back ignoring the whole commotion. The lightning was small it had no sound, no voice, no say it was alone, ignored and betrayed. The lightning was worth nothing throughout the storm, although the brightness of its flicker it was still never heard, always alone. When the thunder and rain argued it attempted to break the feud but ignorance was its only reward. The storm ended, the loudness dimmed until the next time where the lightning would once again try to be heard. g was small it had no sound, no voice, no say it was alone, ignored and betrayed.
