Game OverA Poem by BeautifulHolidayLife is a video game I suppose...Where is the manual? Will I get a tutorial? In this game called Life, it’s ironic how you only get one life. If you’re lucky to have people with you who have gotten far in Life, they can give you wisdom and maybe some cheat codes that they discovered when they were at your level. But the problem is, Life punishes you regardless. You can have it all: the best weapons, the strongest armor, the most powerful spells, but not even these will protect you from Life’s most challenging levels. Why is my view on Life so harsh? Because there have been times where I tried to rage quit, AFK, reset, or unplug forever. But there was a force that prevented me from ending my Life. The Creator designed this game for me. The Creator gives his toughest battles, levels, and bosses to his toughest players. He graced me with invincibility frames, which allowed me to dodge a
boss’ lethal strike. He will give me the opportunity to engage in co-op. At that moment I will find my adventure partner, who will support me, defend me, heal me, and carry me throughout the levels of life. No longer will I feel like ending my Life run early. My co-op partner will ensure my survival. I hope we last enough to teach our newbies how to play and how to win. But no matter how expert I become, no matter how much knowledge I gather, one
day my game will end. If I win is up to me © 2016 BeautifulHolidayAuthor's Note
