He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

A Poem by Zacchea Lewis

He loves my laugh, he digs my smile

He makes my whole world worthwhile

I love him near me, wherever I go

My face radiates with this sunny glow

I miss him when he goes and when he doesn't come soon,

my heart fills with sadness, my world filled with gloom

He tricked me with lies, he stole my heart

he grabbed at it and tore it apart

He stole my words and twisted them around

Just like a beautiful bird without any sound

He loves me, he loves me not,

He stole my heart, with just one shot...
