Egg Shell - Heart

Egg Shell - Heart

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

I watched, forever -

Changed -

(As) You collapsed,

Broke into a thousand pieces -

You always told me - (that)

You needed me to breath -

But I thought

You were made of stronger stuff

than this -thought you would fight

I've got to say,

As I walk over the

Broken egg shells of your heart,

I'm disappointed.
