Beginning

Beginning

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

We are anything,

The beginning,

We are the drop that

Makes the ripples,
We'll sink to the

Bottom and never see

The end result.

And our children will be

The (middle) rain,

Droplets in a pool,

Dew on grass that coats

The wet earth that

Feeds life.

We will become one

And disappear into -

[end]
