Barely Even Here

Barely Even Here

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

We barely even got here,

So now I'd like to stay.

Please don't run away,

Now that we're in the clear.

When you go,

I'd cry,

But, I know,

I'll grow

Without you.

So I'll stop now.
And sleep,

Because you're not needed.
