You'll understand.

You'll understand.

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

My heart was breaking slowly,

Spider web cracks

And finally, with that last blow,

It shattered,

A thousand pieces.

This was going to be a love poem,

But it's come to my attention that,

You never really loved me,

Did you?

'No matter,' I thought,

'I'll kill myself on live tv,

They'll think I was crazy'

(I thought)

But I was wrong.

I don't think they even noticed,

But you did.

Right?

You understand,
Because you know,

(Me)

Don't you,

You know what the f**k I'm on about.

My rainbow heart was bright in the sun,

But right now,

I don't understand,

You said you loved me,

You said you'd never break my heart.

(You said it would never rain on us)

Now my glass heart is shattered,

I killed myself on live TV.

(I'm sure you'll understand.)
