Snow To Numb Your Broken Heart.

Snow To Numb Your Broken Heart.

A Poem by Beatrice Mars
"

Moat, keep and dragon.

"

I'd send you snow

To numb

Your broken heart,

If I thought it would work.

And I'd send you fire

To burn away your

Pain,

If I thought it would work.

I'd send waves to wash you

And winds to release you,

But I know it will never work.

You're chained in his castle dungeon

Embrace.

I'm fighting my way past his

Moat, keep and dragon

To where he has your brain,

Heart and other vital organs captured.

I am your rescuer.

When I free you,

I promise,

I'll sing you sweet songs

And stroke your golden hair.

I'll keep you in a high tower,

Where no one can get you.

DAMN IT. i wish i could write reviews. i've had MAJOR writer's block recently and when i read your words it's like waking up and i remember why i write (because i wish your words had been mine). You inspire me. just thought you should know.

I love so much about this poem:

'I'd send you snow
To numb
Your broken heart,
If I thought it would work.'

'I'll sing you sweet songs
And stroke your golden hair.

I'll keep you in a high tower,
Where no one can get you.'
