One Day

One Day

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

One day you'll be my

Oldest friend

And one day I'll love

You more than I do now.

One day we'll have

Been through more

And we'll have done

Everything we talk about now.

Maybe not tomorrow or

Next year, but one day,

You and me

Will travel the world.

(to get to where we are)

One day I'll still love you

For being everything you are.
