Apple Juice Education.

Apple Juice Education.

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

You made impressions of

Education

And I swallowed it like
Apple Juice

(With a bitter after taste)

I learnt so much from you,

Before I floated away in

A blue balloon,

To a backing track of yellow.

Up in to grey-pink

Clouds I went

As Dawn awoke.

But suddenly it was

Dark and cold

And later

Than I'd thought,

I must have fallen asleep.

I woke from dreams of you

To a morning sky of red, and

Felt my face was bleeding.

It took some time to realise,

I'd been crying.

(Over spilt juice.)
