I Can't

I Can't

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

I caught the

Sun today,

Then I swallowed it

And it burnt my

Stomach.

I'm so tired.

With every song I sing

I feel like I'm saying

Goodbye,

But it's stuck

In there

Rattling around

My head

Along with the dust that

Got in through

The holes in my eyes.

I'm not sure what day it is,

If it's

Autumn or spring.

But I don't care,

I just know that

It's now

And I can't describe how I feel,

So I won't.

I should say something about how beautiful it is,

But I can't.

These are epic memories that I wish I didn't have.
