A Poem by Beatrice Mars

If the night time

Turns to day

And I'm still waiting for you,

I'll press the escape key

Because there'll be nothing

Worth living for anymore...

LOOK! There's a spider

Climbing at a right angle to

The wall,

And it looks very odd

With only four legs.

But you smile your

Asymmetrical smile,

Things have changed

Since last I awoke.

I'm numb (Seasick)

I can hear voices

But I can't feel anything...

WHERE ARE MY HANDS?

Where did you last

See them?

..At the end of my hands?

That's where

They'll be then..

Duh...

I've been practising my
Smile since I've been here

I really think it's coming along
(It is still symmetrical though)

But, It's cracking up,

(Cracking up like you)

So,

When you see the sunlight coming through

The cracks

Make sure to tell me

(I'll press the escape key)

So we can start to run.

Cool poem but there's some parts of the poem that make me wonder while they are in there.

I love it when you write something like this. I love picking through the sentences. Marvelling over your words and imagery. It makes me smile.
