ChocolateA Poem by Beatrice MarsLove is like sweet stuffEating chocolate, I've come to realise, Is somewhat like Our 'relationship'.
Savouring nibbles, Tentative flirting, Smiling at you from Across the class room.
A whole chunk, You asked me out, Another, Our first date. (You brought me chocolates!)
Stuffing bar after bar, Our first time, Gorging myself on you.
Rinsing my mouth out, because I feel sick, Rebound dating.
Going back for more, You're addictive.
Those last few chunks, Just in case.
