When the future
Fails us
We’ll turn
Our back on it,

Refuge in the past.
And if that also
Happens
To fall around our
Feet

Until reality gives up.

We’ll dance as the
Walls come down.
As everything is explained and
We become even more
Confused we’ll smile
Like we meant this to happen.

And if God gets in touch,
Wondering what we’ve done,
I’ll tell him to piss off,
This is my disaster

Although I wouldn’t mind a chat about
