Sugar Sweet

Sugar Sweet

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

Here, beauty queen,

A platter of sugar

Is your dinner

Tonight.

The warden

Thought it would

Suit your temperament

(Or rather improve it)

You should count

Yourself lucky you're not

An axe murderer or some such.

Imagine what you'd be eating then.
