A Poem by Beatrice Mars

I (Love you so much it hurts.)

H (Have you ever felt sick love like this?)

A (And do you ever have dreams you mistake for reality?)

T (This is one of those that may come true)

E (Except)

Y (You don't want to know how it ends. My words go way-)

O (Over your head, Like the first swing of my axe, The second, though, goes-)

U (Under, Straight through your neck and in that split second, I'm sure, you wish

    you never ignored me.)
