Tomorrow

Tomorrow

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

I am not today an enemy,
Tomorrow is another life.
These might not be my words,
But they are in my mind.

Be careful what you wish for,
Because they don't always come
True
And you might be disappointed.

We have free speech,
And all that jazz,
But please, just ignore me
And leave me alone,
I'm not hurting anyone,
But tomorrow is another day
And after all you've said
You never know what might happen.

I, like Claire, also had to look up the meaning of the word... I feel inferior... but I love thisss.. no idea what it's about and I'm not going to try and work it out, I just love the way you've written it and the words you've used :)
