Loved youA Poem by Beatrice MarsThere's nothing worse
Than,
I don't love you anymore.
(I never loved you.)
Are we even then?
You (we) don't know
What love is.
(This
I hate you.
(I always hated you.)
But we'll get over
that. (Each other.)
'Cause this aint
Perfect,
But,
It's better than nothing.
Who wants to be alone?
(We're still lonely.)
So we'll laugh
And joke
And do our best
To get over (Each other)
This
(World.)
We're the first
Of our
Kind
(Well not really.)
Nothing to go on,
Making (it) up as we go along.
(Although,
I never
Loved you
Not sure
Why I'm
Still here.)
Arguing again,
(Daily domestics.)
But when you
Slam
The door,
I get
Shivers
Down my
Spine.
I want (to
Follow) You,
But,
I don't want to lose
(My)
Face.
(That shouldn't
Matter.
Not if this is real
(But this is just for kicks.)
(I'm still waiting for the day you
Fall
In love.)
Never loved you,
Always Hated you.
(Other way around
I'm trying
To be
Angry
At your
Infidelity.
(But what did you
Cheat on?)
(This is just for kicks.)
Never loved you.
(Promise.)
(We don't need promises.)
