One sided which way

One sided which way

A Poem by Beatrice Mars
"

war of the words

"

Don't lay down your pen because of me,
Really darling,
If this is a battle
(which I’m quite sure it's not)
I should be the one to bow out gracefully,
Not you my humble friend.
Oh how I love you so
You have such power with you poems,
A war of words is about to ensue,
So to speak,
It is a one sided competition, my dear
But I can see it in their faces
I can see them asking
One sided which way?

Interesting and good flow. You have a few grammatical errors, such as "If this a battle" should have an "is" in there and then with "You have such power with you poems"... "you" should be "your".
