Red Red Roses

Red Red Roses

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

Make me forget to breath -
(Red red roses and
Bright fire diamonds)
Feint and fluttery,
See if I say yes.

---

A hair clings to the
Cold wet of your glass,

Glittering in the red red lights,
A hand on my hips, my back, my arse,
Is this a good night?

----

Tear drop petals spread on our bed,
Did you do this?
(Red red roses, wilt and die)

A glimpse in the dark, a flash of light,
What is this? I know not.

But I'll sing along.

I like this poem very much. Red roses represent eligance and beauty. And singing along with this occasion is why red roses are very special. Great job. :)

I love this. I'm a sucker for well written subtly sexual poems.

"But I'll sing along"
I can't say I completely understand your choice of that line but it seems to work perfectly. I liked it.

Thanks for sharing.
