The Bird Woman

The Bird Woman

A Poem by Beatrice Noir

she spoke of fragile limbed sparrows,
drapped in delicate light
and beautiful women.

she wrote of wonderful tragities,
all from the eyes of a lover.

a secret hate brewed within her, the love
of the slight letters printed on faint lines
became mocking, and hurtful.

living in a world far from salvation,
i can imagine in death she`ll find
herself in a land of sparrows and
rainbow soft words.
