The color blue is what I am and what the universe is. That beautiful color with so much.

See a Blue Universe


I sea the world in a blue,
a vast ocean tranquil within both me and you.

From the despair and unconditional care,
to the beautiful sky and your heart warming stare.

I see everything in blue,
the shade of my heart, body and happiness too.

A broken heart leaks blue,
while my love is the same shade as well.
Breathe in breathe out, I'm born anew.
Meditation brings my life out of hell.

The wings that you fly with,
are with me when I'm high.
I write her here beside you,
without you I'd die.
The path of virtue isn't enlightenment,
that's the path of the sage.
Meditate on you when I'm here,
your with me inside in love all day.
Yourself, all fear you'll conquer.
Peace in yourself and intuitive interface,
with these things you've defeated a monster,
Blue is I, express myself fully in grace.

Great write! I like how you took blue, and didn't quite describe anything blue with it, but instead created an emotional piece. The blue you're talking about isn't exactly the color, it's the feeling instead. The feeling of being blue. A universe of blue as you say, is full of peace and desire and feeling born anew. I also like how you twisted in a character to love, in the last stanza. As if in the first four stanzas you were thinking to yourself, and in the last you dedicate the poem to somebody. Blue here, becomes more of a tranquil color, something that defines peace. Again, great write :)

Wow this is really awesome! ! I really admire those who can paint such beautiful pictures with poetry, which is one of my weaknesses. I really enjoyed the contrast of blue being both heartbreak and tranquility and relating that to rebirth was a really interesting concept! I enjoyed it al lot!!

I thought meditation was just a way to relax the mind, but now I see that it truly allows a person to let go of their pain.

Oh I love this. I loved how you captured a lot of the symbolism of the color blue that spans over literature such as: peace, calmness, mediation, thoughtfulness faith, confidence, and heaven. I kinda wished you had explored the darker elements too and showed the overcoming of that or explored some combinations of blue, but I understand this is a poem about your favorite color after all.

My favorite color is blue too. This poem captured everything I love about it as well.
