Dear Younger Me

Dear Younger Me

Something I wrote in the Psych Ward to Myself

"

Dear Younger Me,

Hey, Kid. You don’t know me (yet), but you might someday. You wouldn’t like Me, though, if you met Me. I’m many things that You hate. I lie. I’ve not always been as loyal as You are. I’ve messed up so much. I’ve been angry and violent at times, and not always in a Righteous manner.

I wish I had stayed as Cool and Amazing as You are now. I’d give anything to be able to do this all over again. I have enough regrets to fill an ocean. I’m tired of living with My memories. Sometimes they feel too much to bear. I am working to be better, though, every day than I was the day before. I’ll get there.

Don’t give up on Me yet.

I love you.
