CHRIST

CHRIST

A Poem by Bear

From ashes to ashes and dust to dust
So is the end of life I trust
As I walk through this plain of life
There are those who are givers of light
It shines down on our darken souls
The truth burns like glowing coals
So words of wisdom strike like fiery whips
Even more pain comes from a person's lips
You are the energy that people need
Just to understand what a loyal deed
You consume and endure other people's pain
Regardless of the burden or unbearable strain
You continue to help your fellow man
Even if only to hold out a lonely hand
This is the picture I paint of you
And the miraculous things you say and do
Remember the pen is mightier than the sword
And ink bows it head to a truthful word
