PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE

It's a controversial political stand
Claiming to know the answer for all the land
Spending a fortune to teach the country your name
Then on your opponent all the problems you blame
Boasting of the improvements you'll make in every home
The truth is no changes can be made by you alone
Between the special interest groups, your loyalties are torn
You hold out to profit more from the rights of the unborn
To balance the budget all the congress is prime
Easily done if all politicians donated their time
But that would benefit the country whole
So instead we will continue to pay the toll
You go ahead run for office to be in command
And for better leadership, the rest of us will demand

HaHaHa! Not really, I just listen to what the candidates were saying and they both had little to say about the issues and a lot about how bad the other candidate is. That still scares me and was hoping for a write-in winner, Pat Paulsen we sure could use him now :~)

Every time a political commercial comes on I want to play ostrich and cover my head, I am hoping for a write-in candidate where is Pat Paulson when we need him. You young people can look him up :~)

You could be right...although I have a feeling Clinton and Obama are guiding us toward a confrontation with Russia. Putin is getting his ducks in line, anticipating a Clinton win...just my humble opinion. Makes me wonder how we ever got to this point. As Reagan once said: Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.
