Cupid’s cowardly holiday, so misunderstood by others See Valentine’s Day was never meant to be for lovers Love makes ordinary people extraordinarily bold Willing to have their feeling unto the world told They need not a special day to give them a voice Of their being heard from, we are given no choice But what about the fearful, who only dare to care The timid and bashfully afraid who still want to share It was for them that Valentine’s Day was really meant Because no bravery is needed for a card to be sent So this cowards holiday let someone know you care And maybe they will return the favour if they dare Bear
I leave most punctuation to the reader that they can read the poem in their own meter, mood and motility. I thank you for taking the time to read my work.

A strong statement you have here, I agree with you on all. The poetry as always breathtaking. As for the picture, I really want to give that big guy a hug :(

If he was a foot taller and his face was messed up it could have been me in the picture :~)

What's with the rhyme scheme??? I wanna rhyme like that *tearing my hair apart because this is just so good*. This is one of the best Valentine's Poem I have come across here and definitely one that makes me want to say "Wow, how did I miss that?" Loved the read, can't give you more than 100 for this I am afraid. Thank you for sharing ^^ I ended up learning a few things this time around, going to try out something now and you will be the first to be informed when done ^^

One day you will find it is no longer work, the words will just flow out, simple at frist then your vocabulary will become work. That is why it is a good challenge to use a new word to everything you write and before you know it, you have doubled the words in your vocabulary. Thank you for the compliment, I should warn you though the better you get the more family and friends will be asking you to write something for them for free after all they are your family and friends :~)

Love how you did this, Bear.
If indeed a valiant courage ran over the cowards on this special day, there would be an even more magnetic appeal. I can envision everyone just awaiting the unexpected declarations...an even better eyesore than we're used to on 14th!
Good one!

Year after year I kept hoping Schulz would let Charlie at least send her a card but forget to sign it. Glad you could stop by :~)
It's indeed a cowards holiday. Beautiful piece of writing, well constructed, and it rhymes really well. Full rating you deserve.
A message you've passed accoss

Haha, you're welcome. Or, as you said it, "So this cowards holiday, let someone know you care." 😉
"Love makes ordinary people extraordinarily bold" I just love this line. So Beautiful. Unique. Thank you for writing this. It makes me ponder more upon the idea of love.
