SANTA'S SECRET SPY SOCIETY

           
The charges have been filed, and a court date has been set
But no one knows who this S.S.S.S. suing Santa is just yet
The mysteries behind this case have the media all abuzz
Because the complaint is titled, "For the Christmas that was"
A purchase by Santa was uncovered during our investigation
That may well be the grounds, for this lawsuit's presentation
He bought a billion dollar worldwide surveillance security system
Saying "With the reliability of technology, how can I resist them"
On further investigation, we have uncovered disheartening information
The reasons and name, responsible for this Christmas time litigation
Have you wondered how Santa always knew who was naughty or nice
From now on you'll know, it's because of a technological spying device
Before it was the Santa's Secret Spy Society, that had sole responsibly
As members of Santa's little helpers, no one questioned their capability
So why replace something that worked so well, no one knew it existed
That's the disheartening information that for many years has persisted
The basis of this case is of cultural pride and prejudice to one's self
To their embarrassment, the S.S.S.S. are closet cousins to every elf
For it was discovered accidentally through testing of their genomes
That elves are related to Santa's Secret Spy Society, the yard gnomes

Santa sure is keeping up with the times. Although being old-school isn't bad at all.

I really like to do humorous poems for Christmas, it is my way of giving everyone a Christmas gift of a smile or laughter. And I can afford to give this gift to everyone in the world without going bankrupt :~)

Wow, I wrote and posted it to see how it looked and you managed to view before I even edited it. You might give it another look as I have tweaked it a little, I saw this picture this morning and it keep yelling at me so I had to write something to fit it.

I knew what you did and had to hit it anyway. When I arise in the morning I just go to the live feed and as they pop on I read them. Lots of new poets read that way, but many pieces in the work stage.
