HOPE FOR TOMORROW'S CHILD

HOPE FOR TOMORROW'S CHILD

A Poem by Bear

In the hour of pain a life comes forth
The child a tribute to the parents worth
A reflection of influence's life has dealt
Or the passion and guidance a parent has felt
Its all a reason to shed many tears
Bound as we are to the hollow illusion life appears
For we are limited in our understanding
Giving forth all that life is commanding
But a child is unlimited so immature
Unaware of what they might have to endure
So let the children go forth and teach
Maybe they will be able to practice what they preach
It's their purity that can make the world anew
Maybe the past evils of man they might undo

Thank you for stopping by and I will gladly return the read and review favor :~)
'so let the children go forth and teach.' Such a telling line, such an indictment of what we become as innocence withers on the vine.

Agree with Beccy wholeheartedly that we should learn the lesson. T

Children see more clearly than an adult, speak a greater truth and have no secret agenda.

Would that this world could look into their eyes and learn the lesson.

Beccy.

God this was beautiful *crying* Everything you wrote was true. "So let the children go forth and teach
Maybe they will be able to practice what they preach" --This line really got me; I have no more words right now.

Extremely thought provoking, the children always end up being the teachers in the end, we can learn so much from them. Hopefully those evils don't outdo them either. Profoundly scripted.

I have a wee tyke, she's already smarter than me. :) My pleasure.
This is an awesome write... lots of thought in it in such an amazing blessing. "The child a tribute to the parents worth." I love that line... we are given the opportunity to have a child... although everyone doesn't get that opportunity it truly is a moment in life that we open the next chapter in life. Nice work :)
