KINDRED SPIRITA Poem by Bear
The sounds of empty hearts float on the wind As feelings of unknown needs mark her as a friend Eerie the feeling that she has walked already in my shoes As if life's journey for her was one she did not choose Is it that I am now where she has already been Or am I watching her suffer my pains of life again As if through her eyes is it that I now look at life Understanding her misery and the reasons for her strife Odd the feeling of kinship for one I don't really know While the years of understanding between us doesn't show This unseen bond of mystical power holding us together Building a friendship on this magical invisible tether And how can I explain this feeling without my fearing it I simply embrace her for I know she is a Kindred Spirit Bear © 2015 BearAuthor's Note
