A THOUGHT

A crackling bolt of energy, pristine and pure

Traveling through my brain, its destination unsure
It pulses green with envy then blue with determination
Then yellow with caution next a touch of white consideration
Yet the red glow of passion is the strongest and easiest to see
Having all blended together in an inspirational idea granted to me
While bouncing around inside my brain for many countless years
Who knows its influences upon my many hopes, dreams and fears
So too has it been changed by the things in life I have come to know
For friends and family, fun and woe, have all added to its bright glow
With each person who reads this poem and on your thoughts it played
You too have added to its brilliance and ensured it will never fade
